Knowlton School Career Fair

Each year, the school hosts employers from architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning firms during its annual Knowlton Career Fair. The career fair provides students from all sections the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from firms and organizations in their field.

Handshake is Ohio State’s career services platform and the primary on-campus source for connecting students with employers, job and internship postings, and campus events.

Engineering Career Services

Students should register with Engineering Career Services. Once registered, students will receive:

  • Full use of the Handshake job search system—including being able to apply for specific job postings and on-campus interview opportunities

  • Inclusion in engineering and Knowlton employers’ resume referrals

  • Professional consultations for help with resume reviews, job search letters, your job search strategy, interview coaching, and just about any other career-related concern

  • Employer networking opportunities through, career fairs, Career Week, Intern Week, and other employer events

  • Helpful resources: a “quiet room” for telephone and video interviews

Mentor Program

The Knowlton School Alumni Society also plays a role in preparing students for professional practice through its Mentor Program. The Mentor Program along with other alumni events like portfolio review sessions and mock interviews provide current students with access and exposure to professionals in the areas that they are studying.
